Your data and closing your account
What we keep
The details you gave us, your bookings, and the messages you sent us. Contractors also have their verification documents on file.

Closing your account
Contact us and we will close it. When we do:
- Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo are removed immediately.
- Property and job photos are deleted.
- A contractor profile is taken off the marketplace at once.
What is kept, and why
Booking and payment records are kept in an anonymised form — no longer linked to you by name — because we are legally required to retain financial records.
Contractor verification documents are kept for a limited period after closure, in case a question arises about a verification we carried out, and are then permanently erased. You can ask us to erase them sooner and we will.
Asking for erasure
Contact us from the email address on the account. We will confirm when it is done.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The Privacy Policy sets out the full list.
