You pay the contractor's price plus a 10% platform fee — shown as a clear breakdown (job price, fee, total) before you confirm. The contractor keeps 100% of their price; the fee is what you pay Red Plate Builder for secure payments, verified pros and support.
When am I charged?
You pay securely by card when you book, so everything's sorted up front — no cash, no chasing on the doorstep. You'll never be charged more than the total shown at checkout.

Are the contractors verified?

What if I need to cancel?
