Keep payments on the platform

If anyone asks you to pay outside Red Plate Builder — cash, bank transfer, a payment link — say no and tell us.

Paying off-platform means:

• no record of what was agreed
• no held payment, so no protection if the work is not done
• no dispute process
• no refund

Verify the badge

Every approved contractor shows a Red Plate Verified badge on their profile with the date they were last verified. If it is not there, the profile is not approved.

Access to your property

Add access details — gate codes, where the key is — to the booking rather than sending them separately. Contractors see them only for jobs that are live or completed, never for a booking that was cancelled.

Reporting someone

If a contractor or an owner behaves badly, contact us with the booking reference. We take it seriously and we can suspend an account.

Emails from us

Our emails always come from our own domain and never ask for your password or card details. If something looks off, do not click it — come to the site directly and check your dashboard.
