Getting paid
ContractorsUpdated 23 Sept 2026
The owner pays in full when they book, so the money for a job is already secured before you start.
The sequence
- 1.The owner books and pays. The job is locked into your calendar.
- 2.You do the work and mark it complete in your dashboard.
- 3.The owner confirms the job — that releases your payment immediately.
- 4.If the owner does not respond either way, the payment releases automatically once the review window closes.
- 5.We transfer the money to you and mark the payout as sent.
Where you can see this
Every job shows its payment state on your Jobs page:
- Awaiting owner confirmation — with the date it releases automatically
- Released for payout — the owner confirmed, or the window closed
- On hold — the owner has reported a problem
Your Earnings page shows the totals.
If a job is on hold
The owner has raised an issue. You will have been emailed with exactly what they said. Add photos of the finished work to the job — they are the strongest evidence you have. See How disputes work.
Photos are worth the minute they take
Photographing finished work protects you. If a payment is ever questioned, the photos on the job are what settle it.
