Confirming a completed job
When your contractor marks a job complete, nothing is paid out to them yet. It waits for you.
Your two choices
Confirm the job. If the work is done properly, confirm it from the booking page. The contractor's payment is released immediately. This is the normal outcome and it is one click.
Report a problem. If something is wrong, report it instead. Describe what happened in a sentence or two — your contractor will see this, and so will our team. The payment is held while we review it.
If you do nothing
We understand you may be in another country and not checking daily. If you neither confirm nor report a problem, the payment releases automatically once the review window closes.
The exact date is shown on the booking page and in the email we send when the job is marked complete. Silence is treated as approval, so if something is wrong it is important to say so before then.
After the window closes
Once the payment has released, reporting a problem is no longer automatic — but please still contact us. We would rather hear about it late than not at all.
Photos
If your contractor uploaded photos of the finished work, they are on the booking page. They are worth a look before you confirm, especially if you were not there.
